These Terms of Use govern your use of milesinsurance.in (the “website”), operated by Miles Insurance Brokers Private Limited (“MILES”, “we”, “us”), CIN U66220HR2023PTC112809, an IRDAI-licensed Direct Broker (Life & General), Certificate of Registration No. 954, valid from 28 March 2024 to 27 March 2027. By using the website you agree to these terms.

1. About our services

MILES is an insurance broker. We advise on insurance, place insurance with insurance companies and support clients with claims. We are not an insurer: every policy is issued by an insurance company, and every claim is assessed and decided by that insurer under the terms of its policy. Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation.

2. Information on this website

The content on this website is general information about insurance and our services. It is not advice for your specific circumstances and is not an offer of insurance. Cover, exclusions, premiums and claim outcomes depend on the insurer’s policy wording and underwriting. Please read the policy documents carefully and speak to a MILES advisor before making a decision. While we take care to keep the content accurate and current, laws, regulations and insurer products change and we cannot guarantee that every page reflects the latest position.

3. Enquiries and quotations

When you submit a form or contact us, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email or WhatsApp about your enquiry. Any quotation is indicative until the insurer has accepted the proposal and issued the policy. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information: incorrect or incomplete disclosure in a proposal can lead an insurer to reject a claim or cancel a policy.

4. Premium payments

Premiums are paid directly to the insurance company. MILES will never ask you to pay a premium into a personal bank account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping content in bulk, or submitting false information.

6. Intellectual property

The website’s content, design, text, graphics and the MILES name and logo belong to MILES or its licensors. Insurer names and logos belong to their respective owners and are shown to identify insurers we work with. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use; any other use requires our written permission.

7. Links to other websites

The website links to third-party sites, such as insurers, IRDAI and news sources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MILES is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information on this website or from the website being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including our obligations as an IRDAI-licensed insurance broker.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our services, please follow our grievance redressal process.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you may have to approach IRDAI, the Insurance Ombudsman or consumer forums.
